Daily Physical Activity
Three ways to run Daily Physical Activity.
The following methods are tried and tested and can be either teacher led or student led. Often schools spend a little time training up their student or sports leaders at the beginning of each Term or school Year so they are able to organise equipment and competently run each activity with little input from teachers.
Method 1: Rotation of a Focus Area each week
- Grade 3s work on Fitness activities for a week
- Grade 4s work on Co-operative Games for a week
- Grade 5s work on Individual and Group Challenges for a week etc

Method 2: Whole School Programs
For example:
- Monday = Games
- Tuesday = Fitness
- Wednesday = Individual Challenges
- Thursday = Dance
- Friday = Walk and Talk

- Grade 4s working on relays
- Grade 5s working on soccer
